Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, actress and model who was crowned Miss USA in 1996, is an American model and actress. Her mother named her after actress Ali MacGraw after she watched her 1970 film 'Love Story'. She's of French (Cajun) descent and was raised in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she went to Cecilia High School. In high school, she led the cheerleading squad and won the title of Miss Louisiana Teen America. At the time, she was 17 year old. In 1996, she won the title of Miss Louisiana USA. The star gained attention by winning the title of Miss America. Her acting debut came in 1997 in the TV drama 'Clueless'. She gained a lot of attention after she was dubbed "the Doritos Girl" by appearing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast during the 1998 Super Bowl. Her debut film was the movie "Beautiful" 2000. Through the years she appeared in a number of films and TV shows. In addition, she has been featured in several 'most desired lists of women.
