In the year 13 with ten years of singing and dancing instruction to her credit, she along with her mother went on a journey to L.A. for a year to find out if they could have a career in show business. Within two months she secured her first paying job dancing on the Danny Kaye Show with Danny Kaye. "I've used my dance and singing training to a great extent," she says. It's a discipline-building experience that comes through this training is beneficial to an actor." O'Toole's acting debut was My Three Sons. This was then followed by Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. as well as Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole's greatest love, despite her television and film success has been theatre. The time her stint on Smallville came to an end, she chose to pursue theater as her primary focus, that's what she's been doing for the past decade. After moving in New York, she had her first performance on Broadway in The Sea Gull. The actress has been featured in several Off-Broadway plays, including Adam Rapp's Kindness and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
